Privacy Policy

PetOkay is operated by Kulphy Labs LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the PetOkay iOS app and this website collect, and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account information. Your email address and a password (stored securely by our authentication provider, Supabase). Used to create and manage your account.
• Pet profiles. Pet names, species, breed, and age that you choose to add. Used to personalize AI results.
• Scan results. The text results of AI analyses (urgency level, possible conditions, suggested actions) are saved to your scan history, linked to your account.
• Photos. Photos you submit are sent to OpenAI's GPT-4o service to generate the analysis. We do not store your photos on our servers. Only the AI's text result is saved.
• Location. If you grant permission, your device location is used to show nearby veterinary clinics. It is used in the moment and not stored as a location history.
• Usage analytics. We use PostHog to record basic product events (such as sign-up, scan completed, vet button tapped) linked to a user identifier, so we can understand and improve the app.
• Support messages. If you contact us through the support form, we store the name, email, and message you provide.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use your photos to train AI models.
• We do not show ads or share your data with advertisers.

Third-party services

PetOkay relies on the following processors: Supabase (authentication and database), OpenAI (photo analysis via GPT-4o), Google Maps Platform (vet search and maps), PostHog (analytics), and Apple (app distribution). Each processes only the data needed to provide its function.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app: Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Children

PetOkay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

PetOkay provides educational information about animals only. It does not provide medical services or advice for humans or animals, and it is not a substitute for a licensed veterinarian.
